Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MakeMyDeck ("we", "us", or "our") and our website, applications, and AI presentation tools (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

MakeMyDeck helps you create, edit, and export presentations using AI. Features, plans, credit limits, and availability may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at our discretion.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized use. You may use the Service without an account in limited cases, subject to applicable usage restrictions.

Plans, credits, and billing

The Service may be offered on free and paid plans. Free and paid plans may include monthly credits or usage limits. Certain actions — such as generating images, outlines, or using specific AI features — may consume credits according to the plan in effect at the time of use.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our payment provider (Stripe) unless canceled. Prices, features, and credit allowances are shown at checkout or on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice. Taxes may apply where required by law.

You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically refund amounts already paid, except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including prompts, outlines, and presentation materials. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit your content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service, including sending content to AI systems to generate results.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to submit it. Do not submit content that infringes others' rights or violates applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, credit systems, or access controls
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malware or content that violates third-party rights
• Misrepresent AI-generated output as human-created where disclosure is required by law

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

AI-generated output

AI-generated presentations, text, and images may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all output before use. We do not guarantee that generated content will be error-free, original, or fit for any particular purpose.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding except as permitted in connection with normal use of the Service.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
